On average, M-S Cash Drawer connects 1 to 3 resellers with software developers every week. There is no cost to participate in this program for either the software developer or the reseller. This program is specifically designed to help Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that are interested in recruiting resellers in the United States.

How do we help introduce Independent Software vendors (ISVs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs)? We have designed a variety of marketing tools to reach out to channel partners in a variety of ways. Our reseller recruitment tools include:

Channel Email Newsletter: M-S Cash Drawer sends out a monthly email newsletter for the POS and Mobility & ISO markets. Our databases are comprised of primarily ISVs (software developers), VARs (value-added resellers) and ISO/Agent customers and prospects as well as subscribers from many industry publications including Business Solutions Magazine and Vertical Systems Reseller Magazine. The POS email newsletter reaches over 4,700+ recipients per month. The Mobility & ISO email newsletter reaches over 2,900+ recipients per month.

In our newsletters, we showcase ISVs by including a rotating banner ad featuring their company and software application. Every newsletter, we feature one ISV per vertical. The banner ad is offered at no charge and is a great opportunity for ISVs to create brand awareness for their product within our reseller channel.

Data Mining / Targeted Reseller Recruitment: Our team has spent over a decade developing one of the most comprehensive reseller databases in the industry. Through our CRM system, we are able to provide not only basic contact information for our reseller partners but also identify what hardware, software, and services they offer. This enables us to search our database to identify channel customers and prospects based on factors such as existing software/hardware the VAR may resell, cash register that the VAR resells, vertical market served, geography/territory coverage, and annual sales volume.

Our database is focused on channel partners whose core business is point of sale, barcode/RFID, or card technology. We do not have general computing or IT/networking resellers in our database. Many of the VARs in our database are currently selling software applications but regularly looking to establish new partnerships with ISVs to augment their existing solutions offerings or as new opportunities arise. Many software developers use our data mining services to build out their existing channel base in certain geo-targeted areas in which they need representation.

Cash Register Resellers: Our database includes most cash register resellers that resell SHARP, Toshiba TEC, Sam4s, and Casio products. As they look to expand their product portfolio, many cash register VARs look to establish partnerships with retail or restaurant POS software vendors.

End User Lead Program: Our end user lead generation program is open to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that are interested in utilizing our qualified end user leads to recruit new resellers. This is a great strategy for ISVs that are looking to expand their channel base.

On average, M-S Cash Drawer distributes over 300 qualified end user leads per month at no cost to our channel partners. From 2010-2014, we provided over 4,000 qualified leads to over 1,400 different channel partners. These end user leads often require POS or other allied software applications in addition to hardware. Therefore, a VAR that sells software applications is an ideal fit to be accepted into our lead generation program.
