Our product configuration services allow resellers to take advantage of our knowledgeable staff without big volume purchasing commitments that are typically required. Below is an outline of the product configuration services that M-S Cash Drawer offers to channel partners. Lock changes on cash drawers and inserts: Many chain store and/or government agencies require unique/random locks on their cash drawers and/or money tray covers/locking lids. M-S Cash Drawer can change locks on all our cash drawers and also offers a random lock option for money tray covers at a nominal cost. The best part about this service is that we can still ship the product on short notice and there are no minimum order requirements for this service. Inserting customer supplied material: Many of our channel partners request that M-S Cash Drawer insert printed material into the box before it is shipped. This often includes items like product configuration instruction sheets, custom CDs, keyboards into an AIO unit box, or interface cables. Often, we can provide these services at no extra charge and are able to ship the products on short notice. Loading software on AIO units: Many resellers and Independent Software Vendors have stopped taking delivery of hardware purchased for clients. Often, they request M-S Cash Drawer to load their software onto AIO units before requesting us to ship the entire bundle to the end user on their behalf. This allows the resellers to eliminate the need to invest in receiving and shipping, incur the cost of shipping the hardware twice, and eliminates the risk of product obsolescence. The resellers can simply focus on increasing business and serving their customers. Maintain a spare pool: M-S Cash Drawer currently manages spare pools for many leading industry software vendors (ISVs). These Managed Services enable channel partners to simply request us to ship products from their spare pool and also arrange for call tags for defective products in the field. This eliminates the need to ship hardware from one place to the other for in and out of warranty repairs. In addition, channel partners do not have to worry about inventory carrying costs related to having a spare pool, the cost of shipping and receiving the spare pool, or product obsolescence. As a value added service, we maintain the spare pool stock for our partners at no extra charge. The channel partner only pays for the shipping cost and call tag service. Setting black mark sensor: For channel partners that serve the pharmaceutical industry, M-S Cash Drawer provides black mark sensor setting for printers used to print prescriptions. In the majority of cases, we can offer this service at a nominal charge and can also ship the products on short notice. Changing printer emulation: Many of our reseller partners request us to change the printer emulation for compatibility purposes. Some of the most common emulation change requests pertain to converting receipt printers to Epson emulation or converting label printers to Eltron / Zebra / Datamax emulation. Popular options include a 5 coin / 5 bill, 8 coin / 5 bill, 8 coin / 4 bill, 6 coin / 6 bill , or 6 coin / 5 bill plus two additional compartment money trays. We offer a variety of coin / bill choices and are able to change insert/money tray according to the specifications of your customer. Through this service, we offer channel partners the ability to customize cable specifications by length and connector type.
